Rebirth Of The Living Dead is another film that stakes a claim to being the “official” sequel to the 1985 original. This one is being produced by John A Russo, co-writer of the original Night of The Living Dead, and writer of both versions of the Return of The Living Dead novel. It is being directed by the comically prolific Dustin Ferguson (176 directorial credits to his name since 2007). It is planned for release in october 2026.
